Lana baked cookies tonight with very little help. If only she could read and reach all the ingredients. She did exactly what she was told, and the result was fabulous. I only assisted when necessary. She even cracked her first egg, put the dishes in the dishwasher, and wiped off the counter. Good job Lana!

Learning how to use measuring cups.

I told her how much she needed to measure, and she counted it out.

She was really excited to crack the egg.

Perfect! No egg shell or busted yolk.

I admit, I was a little nervous about having flour sprayed all over the kitchen.,

But once I let her scoop it out with a spoon, she did great!

In goes the chocolate chips. (After taste testing a few, of course!)

Trying to stir the chocolate chips in was the hardest part for her.

Once she learned how to fold, she was groovin'.

I gave her a choice for cookie size. They had to be jumbo.

I know, most of you would disagree with this, but it's the best part.
